I always have a running legacy PC for Windows 98se and old games.

One of my other weird projects is designing a 3d printed World War II German Enigma Machine that only uses filament and plastic glow-end optical fiber for sending the signals.

During college I started down the ternary computer idea path as a pen and graph paper project during boring tech classes I already knew. I wanted to design and build a hobby protoboard computer out of old ICs but there was already an ocean of 8, 16-bit, etc. A base 3 computer sounded cool.
* I run a homelab and host game servers for my friend groups.
* Not the greatest programmer but I get by for my own projects.
* Really want to learn PCB design, but struggle staying focused with the KiCad tutorials.
